Surf's Up

Water - the classical element symbolising life, rebirth, transformation, purification, creation. Water is essential for growth, it's used in some rituals for cleansing. However, it can also be destructive and dangerous. It's powerful and commands respect. I love the sea: swimming in it, surfing in it, paddling, splashing and simply staring at it. The sound of the sea is cathartic and soothing. Watching the surfers ride the waves is entertainment and energising.
